Clean Energy DC: Transit & Curbspace Strategies
PROJECT SUMMARY: Clean Energy DC is the energy and climate action plan for Washington, DC. It identifies 57 actions in the District’s buildings, energy infrastructure, and transportation system to meet GHG reduction targets. Plan action items include short-term next steps and a 15-year timeline for implementation.
The District finalized the Clean Energy DC plan in August 2018. Subsequently, the District enacted the Clean Energy DC Omnibus Amendment Act of 2018, to codify several implementation elements of the plan.
Integral Group enlisted Nelson\Nygaard to forecast transit vehicle emissions, and develop transit and curbspace management actions for the plan.
