PROJECT SUMMARY: The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Transportation Options (TO) program provides programming to educate the public on non-drive-alone travel options, administers a statewide ride matching service, facilitates congestion mitigation support for ODOT construction projects, and administers federal grant funding. TO programming is coordinated at the state level, and operated locally through ODOT Regional offices, local transportation service agencies, and transportation management associations.

To measure program success, ODOT coordinates with local service providers to conduct an annual statewide travel survey. ODOT contracted Nelson\Nygaard to support its performance monitoring process, travel survey analysis, and survey protocol guidance.

TEAM: Nelson\Nygaard

ROLE: I served as the primary survey analyst for this effort. In this role I analyzed statewide survey results sourced from all local TO service providers for two years, and wrote a survey process guide to support future in-house survey administration.
